Kyle Gibson, Ph.D. is the Assistant Director and a Research Assistant Professor at the Center for Entrepreneurship in the College of Business Administration at UNL. He currently conducts applied research using mixed methods to understand the business landscape in the Lincoln, Omaha, and greater Nebraska area. His past publications addressed a variety of applied topics including the welfare of adopted children, the causes of suicide terrorism, and the role of religion in warfare.
Outside academia, he has held positions as a manager, controller, marketing analyst and copywriter. He has worked in startup environments for nearly 20 years, beginning with a small retail store and ending most recently with a rapidly growing Inc. 5000 company.
He is an active photographer and musician.
