Three from SGIS chosen as Research Development Fellows

Three professors from the School of Global Integrative Studies, Dr. Roberto Abadie, assistant professor of anthropology, Dr. Bill Belcher, assistant professor of anthropology, and Dr. Patrick Bitterman, assistant professor of geography, have been chosen for the 2020-2021 Research Development Fellows Program (RDFP).

The program is designed to help jumpstart the recipient's research program by providing access to information, resources, and practical experiences that can be leveraged to maximize competitiveness for external grant funding. Faculty members are involved from across the university, representing the College of Architecture, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Education and Human Sciences, College of Engineering, Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts, and Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
