Faculty Activities at the Annual Meeting of the 85th Annual Meeting of the American Association of Physical Anthropologists and elsewhere:

  • Professor Emily Hamerl poses with our newest hominid ancestor (naledi) while networking at the AAPA (see photo above)
  • Adjuct Anthropology Professor Karl Reinhard was awarded the Eve Cockburn Mentorship Award at the 2016 Paleopatholology Association meetings last week
  • Raymond Hames was one of the absent coauthors of a presentation entitled "Human grooming and socializing in comparative perspective" (Adrian Jaeggi, Raymond Hames, Karen Kramer, Michael Gurven, Cristina Gomes, and Hillard Kaplan) in an AAPA session entitled "Primatology: Behaviour - Apes and Old World Monkeys. Contributed Podium Presentations"
