Anthropology major Catherine Day has been selected for the inaugural First Interstate Bank Smithsonian Internship program and will spend the summer at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History in Washington, D.C. The competitive, 10-week internship connects students from rural communities with hands-on experiences across the Smithsonian Institution.
We’re proud to see Catherine represent the School of Global Integrative Studies (SGIS) and anthropology at one of the world’s leading museums while advancing the kind of globally-engaged, human-centered learning that defines our programs.
SGIS is part of the College of Arts and Sciences.
