Carrie Heitman was selected as one of the 2015-2016 American Anthropological Association Leadership Fellows
All AAA Leadership Fellow are matched with a member of the AAA Executive Board who will serve as mentors for the coming year. Mentors are intended to provide insight into the range of opportunities for leadership service within the association, share career planning advice, and provide a point of entry into the AAA governance system.
Leadership Fellows attend a number of Executive Board events taking place at the Annual Meeting in Denver, including the Executive Board Meeting, the Association Operations Committee or Association Communications Meeting, the Section Assembly, the Business Meeting, and the Awards Ceremony where you will be recognized as a Leadership Fellows Awardee. In addition, Leadership Fellows may also be invited to any other special committee meetings that your mentor will attend.
