Natasha Brockhaus

Natasha Brockhaus is a Ph.D. student in Geography at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Her research interests include cultural and historical geography, spatial justice, Indigenous geographies, and life history interviewing methodologies. She is particularly interested in the relationships between people, place, culture, and history, and in how individuals and communities experience, understand, and shape place across changing social and historical landscapes. Her interests also extend to questions of whose histories and experiences are represented in geographic narratives and whose are overlooked. Natasha holds a master’s degree in Geography with a concentration in Human Geography from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a bachelor’s degree in Geography and GIS from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
