I am a biological anthropologist with a focus on primate behavior, morphology, and conservation. My research is focused on the adaptations of nocturnal primates, with specific interest in the Malagasy strepsirrhines. My current research focuses on the locomotor and feeding behaviors of aye-ayes, hindlimb morphological variation of nocturnal lemurs, and differences in gastrointestinal microbiomes for captive and wild lemurs. Prior to working at UNL, I was a post-doctoral researcher with Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium.
