Join us for an information session about City Year, a national service program dedicated to helping students and schools succeed. The organization partners with public schools in 29 high-need communities across the US and through international affiliates in the UK and Johannesburg, South Africa. City Year brings young adults from diverse backgrounds for a demanding year of full-time community service. For soon to be graduates City Year is a perfect opportunity to gain valuable professional experience while also giving back to communities across the nation. This information session will be lead by Sabrina M. Castro, MPA, Regional Recruitment Manager for Midwest and moderated by Dr. Emira Ibrahimpašić, Assistant Professor of Practice and Assistant Director of Global Studies in the School of Global Integrative Studies (SGIS).
