Heitman Receives NEH Support for Digital Native American and Indigenous Studies

Assistant professor of anthropology Dr. Carrie Heitman and her colleagues have just been awarded a grant for their Digital Native American and Indigenous Studies Project by the National Endowment for the Humanities in the sum of $249,817.

The grant will help support three separate three-day workshops with 35 participants. Each workshop will be hosted by Arizona State University and IUPUI and will engage in teaching new digital methods and studying matters of preservation and access in Native American studies.
