Why did you select your major(s) and minor(s)? Were there any events or people that convinced you to declare?
I choose to study anthropology when I was sitting in a lecture about forensic anthropology as a forensic major and realized that I liked anthropology a lot more than forensic biology.
What is your favorite course you have taken from your program(s) and why?
My favorite course i have taken is a class i am currently in called medieval culture with Prof. Twomey.
Who have been some of your strongest mentors or role models here?
One of my strongest mentors have been Emira ibrahimpasic.
Do you have research experience (UCARE or other)? If so, please describe your project.
Yes, I am doing a UCARE project where I am working with a rural museum (The Great Plains Welsh Heritage Centre) remotely and in person. My project is to give them assistance and to see how I can help remotely to aid in creating a pilot program for the museum studies program.
Have you had an internship or job? If so, please describe it and explain how your major(s) helped you with it.
Yes, I volunteer at the midwest archaeological collections center. This opportunity has given me so much experience in cataloging collections and hands on experience in working with artifacts.

What are you involved in on campus or in the community?
I am very involved at the great plains welsh heritage centre where I intern at.
What are your plans after graduation?
After graduate I plan to get a job at a museum.
