Why did you apply for CLS?
I applied for the CLS Program because I knew that this would be a great opportunity to be exposed to a culture that is relatively different than mine. As an aspiring Foreign Service Officer, this experience will be a great opportunity in helping me not only meet my academic and professional goals, but also promote the United States interest around the world, in the future. What I hope to gain from the program is to develop linguistic skills as well as bonding, and forming strong friendships along the way.
